The Giving Tree 2021: Humanize Homelessness will create a custom giving tree for your office. In partnership with local shelters, Humanize has curated gift packs for people experiencing homelessness and the shelters that support them.

The Giving Tree 2020: To bring holiday cheer to the unhoused community in the King County region, we launched the Giving Tree campaign. For the holidays, we partnered with WeWork to create a giving opportunity for you, family and friends with a virtual Giving Tree! We supported 5 shelters in the King County region – Sophia Way, CFH Homeless, New Bethlehem, Acres of Diamond and Friends of Youth.

October-December, 2020 We would like to give a huge THANK YOU to all of the donors of the Fall Supper Campaign. With your help, we were able to deliver 40 meals on November 4th and 40 meals on December 8th from Conscious Eatery to women at The Sophia Way. This campaign supported a Seattle local restaurant and helped to provide meals to women experiencing homelessness.

June 21, 2020 Humanize Homelessness (HH) is bringing this fundraising online Yoga session as part of the International Yoga Day on June 21, 2020. The entire proceeds will go towards Donate @ Distance program that HH is launching, this program will support shelters across King County to meet their essential needs starting with meals from local restaurants.

February 23, 2020 Latino music was the theme for the evening at New Bethlehem Project in Kirkland. Cesar and band played amazing festive Latino music and took us to Mexico in spirits. Few guests told us they got nostalgic and remembers their old times or childhood days growing up in Mexico and Texas.

January 25, 2020 We enjoyed Italian cuisine and played the usual team games like Charades and Jenga at New Bethlehem Project. We chatted as a group about general topics like school activities, colleges around Seattle and challenges faced by tweens and teens.

December 15, 2019 We served Indian Biriyani & Mediterranean salad and soup to the shelter guests at New Bethlehem Project. Kicked off the evening with Mindfulness activity led by Ashok. Played music to celebrate the holidays.

November 17, 2019 Volunteers played team games and served Mexican foot with shelter guests at New Bethlehem Project. We spilt into 3 to 4 smaller groups with one volunteer in each group. Each group had mixed age group, starting with tweens to adults. Charades, Jenga and Monopoly were a hit with youth and adults.

September 29, 2019 Volunteers served breakfast and exchanged stories with morning guests at New Bethlehem Project in Kirkland.

November 8, 2018 The Indian Association of Western Washington partnered with Humanize Homelessness to celebrate Diwali with 150 unsheltered people at Congregation for the Homeless, The Sophia Way and New Bethlehem Day Center email volunteer@humanize.ngo if you want to get involved or want more information.
