Be Our Champion

The Be Our Champion program is best thought of as a way that local businesses and contributing individuals can commit to ongoing support of a local homeless shelter or service provider who's mission resonates with them. Humanize Homelessness awards a ‘Badge of Honor’ to participating businesses and contributing individuals – in recognition of their kindness and action in connecting with and serving their communities. The badge is a symbol of the participants’ role in being socially responsible to the communities that surround them. The Community Champions program has three tiers – starting with silver for participation, gold for additional direct support and platinum for going above and beyond. Participants renew/ upgrade the badge periodically depending on the level of participation they choose. Don't hesitate to submit a volunteer form if you want to learn more about being a champion, or if you want to help recruit champions in your community.
